Who is eligible?
Individuals of all ages who are in the final stages of life and would like to receive skilled nursing care in a home-like setting. The Hospice House staff, patient and family, along with their personal physician and Hospice Alliance´s medical director work together to determine if our Hospice House is appropriate for you or your loved one.
How is it paid for?
Hospice care services are covered by Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance and private pay. We are able to offer room and board at the Hospice Houses at a reasonable cost to our patients. Daily room and board is covered by private insurance, private pay or charity care (Hospice Alliance receives community support, including grants). Hospice Alliance will never turn away a patient due to inability to pay.
