Disability

If you become injured or ill and can’t work, disability insurance pays you a portion of your salary until you can return to work. Hospice Alliance provides short-term-term disability to employees assigned to work 30 or more hours per week . Employees are able to enroll in and purchase long-term disability.

Life

Hospice Alliance provides free basic life insurance to employees assigned to work 30 or more hours per week. Additional supplemental life coverage is available for purchase for you, your spouse and children.

Medical and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts

Flexible spending accounts allow you to save pre-tax money to pay for certain medical, dental and dependent daycare expenses for you and your eligible dependents.

Paid Time Off (PTO)

Hospice Alliance provides Paid Time Off (PTO) to employees assigned to work 20 or more hours per week. Vacation, sick hours, standard holidays and accruals are combined together to form one PTO bank. Our PTO plan gives you control over how you use your accrued time off.

403b Retirement Plan

Employees eligible to participate can save for retirement by enrolling in the Hospice Alliance 403b plan.  Salary deferrals can be deducted pre-tax or post-tax and Hospice Alliance provides an employer matching fund program.

Payroll Savings Club

Employees can enroll in the Educators Credit Union payroll savings club. Employees who choose to participate may elect to have an amount of their choice deducted from their payroll directly deposited into their payroll savings account.

Bereavement Leave

Hospice Alliance provides bereavement leave to employees assigned to work 20 or more hours per week.
